FMP W3 (Research) DAY 3

Today i looked at Jake and Dinos Chapman's work as his work is distorted and he uses dolls which are 'childlike' objects to make them seem 'grotesque.' I made a concept board of his work, which inspires me and i can interpret this later on in the project by tracing around the shape of the body to make a silhouette. Jake and Dinos Chapman's work is very interesting and the movement of the body is something that i want to consider later on in the project.
I also went to the National Picture Gallery; however I was very disappointed as the staff there weren't very helpful and they didn't know where any of the things i wanted where. Unfortunately I only had a few decent photos of the 18th century. However, if i was to re visit there i would plan my visit and look on the internet to see if they have a map which would direct me to certain rooms. The images that i gathered however can still help me towards my development stage and even though i have only a few images it's better than nothing !
