Whilst going through my exhibition visits I stumbled across this one! It was an amazing exhibition and it fits great within my project. I took the images that I had taken from the exhibition and I looked into detail that she tried to create little 'fairies' out of dead insects. This intrigued me as it was grotesque and related alot to the fairytale aspect in which i was covering. This exhibition was successful because it relates alot and i thought that i would have trouble finding enough exhibitions that would feature anything to do with the 'fairytale' theme. What I could have done differently was try and see if i could re create the 'fairy' idea in which she did... However, this would take up alot of time collecting insects etc, and I dont think this would have been very practical. Next I am going to look at the exhibition that i visited in January of Tim Walkers story tellers exhibition as thats fairytale based.
