The film was very useful for my research as the dresses were modern/old and i really liked the excess use of material and big hair do's. Marie Antoinette film helped me get more into the project as I was intrigued by the clothes that were worn.
I then decided that i would draw a dress and gather some fabric swatches of the colours that were most frequent- in this circumstance it was blue and pink. Today was successful as I was able to gather alot of inspiration from the film and it made me more focused as i realised more detail in the garment, for example; floral is always seen. I will incorporate this information as the garments gave me alot of inspiration and a great picture of what it was like in the 18th century. My next port of call is to visit bath and I am looking forward to that alot!
In the meantime I will gather images for my concept board.
