FMP W5 (Sampling) DAY 3

Today i got decayed flowers and worked with the different shapes, this was quite interesting as i liked how the petals worked better on the smaller one. I then worked with the artificial flower to see what it would look like on material, however it looked a bit dull and boring. I then moved onto using real flowers stitching on material, i liked this one and i thought it looked quite affective. After this one i decided to go back to the artificial flower and do some embroidery with it. However, i still preferred the original flower idea, but i just wanted to try something new.
I then moved on to stitching individual flowers onto the material, this was quite challenging as the flowers kept on braking. It took a lot of time so in the future i will be doing a different idea. I then developed these ideas and instead of stitching i decided it would be better to use a glue gun as this was more time efficient. I enjoyed doing these ones especially the one where i pulled the petals off and made my own style of a flower, this was quite interesting watching the flower decay. After doing this i then stitched into it which looked quite interesting. If i was to do this again i would maybe use different flowers and petals and different stitch colours.
