FMP W4 (Research & Development) DAY 1

Today i researched the majority of the brothers grimm fairytales and i selected a few; Cinderella, little red riding hood, snow white, sleeping beauty, rumplestiltskin and hansel and gretel. I was very interested in how twisted the stories were. I extracted some of the words from the synopsis which I'm going to use later on when thinking of collage ideas or design stand work.
After finishing my research i decided the best way to start development is to go straight on the stand!
This week was creative week and i was really looking forward to it !]
I took the corset shape idea and cut it out several times on large paper, i joined them all up to make a 3d shape. This was very interesting to see what shapes were visible. I done several stand ideas which i can use in the rough designs.
The only criticism i have is that maybe i could have done a bit more stand work with the paper 3d as that gave me unusual shapes which would create a different silhouette shape. However, due to time, photoshop came in very useful to make new shape ideas!
